Advocacy Services For Kids Advocacy Services for Kids (ASK), based in Kalamazoo, MI, have been users of Apricot Software™ since March of 2010. The highly secure, completely flexible and easy to use features of Apricot make the software well-suited to fit the data collection and reporting needs of ASK’s youth advocacy programs. ASK’s eleven staff members and hundreds of volunteers provide the following services: Information and resources Individual support Relatives raising relative children support Referrals to community services and agencies Speakers and trainings Parent and youth advisory committees Resource lending library ASK is also well known for its Family Support Partner (FSP) Program. FSPs are parents or caregivers of children with mood, behavioral, or emotional challenges. They have faced and overcome many barriers while trying to access services for their children and are in a position to assist parents with similar situations in navigating the system of care for their children. They provide support based on firsthand experience. ASK currently uses Apricot as a case management database for over 1,200 clients. Apricot is designed to support Youth Advocacy Services of all kinds and is proud to partner with Advocacy Services for Kids.
