Jim Tullio
Jim Tullio, aka “Tools,” has been in the music industry for over forty years as a musician, songwriter (a catalog of more than 2,000 compositions) and producer (to date over 70 records).
Tullio has won two Grammies producing the posthumous Steve Goodman albums “Unfinished Business” and “A Tribute to Steve Goodman” plus co-produced several tracks on the first double-platinum Sonia Dada record. He has also won 50 Clio awards as a writer/producer of commercial music.
Jim has produced records for such artists as John Martyn, Mavis Staples, The Staple Singers, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Richie Havens, Steve Goodman, Dave Mason, Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Rosalie Sorrels, Dr. L. Subramaniam, Mary McCaslin, David Bromberg and many, many more.
Recently Jim has opened “Butcher Boy” a new world class recording studio in Chicago.
