David Murray
David Murray is a guitarist, producer and songwriter who has deep roots in the Austin music community. Murray began his career in the 1970s at the legendary Antone’s night club. There he learned from and performed with blues greats such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Albert Collins and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Additionally, he has performed numerous times on Austin City Limits and NBC’s Friday Night Lights.
David has recorded and/or toured in the US and Europe with Austin’s most respected artists. Some of these include Angela Strehli, Lou Ann Barton, Kelly Willis, Doyle Bramhall, Marcia Ball, Roscoe Beck, Monte Warden, Jimmy LaFave, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Michael Cross, Brennen Leigh, Jo Carol Pierce, and Michael Ramos.
