Job Description:
This is a primary customer support position responsible for providing assistance to both new and existing customers to ensure the successful implementation and use of database systems.
The systems developed by CTK are specifically for nonprofit organizations to help them automate their documentation and agency reporting requirements. Community TechKnowledge, is an Austin, TX, based company that provides leading-edge software to support the mission-driven work of nonprofits.
Responsibilities:
New Customers:
- Provide support for the onsite/remote consultancy, form builds and initial training.
- Work with the customer to identify their form/process needs and ensure the successful development of their initial forms and implementation of their system.
Current Customers:
- Respond to customer support question and provide training, suggestions and advice, as needed.
- Refer technical questions to the Helpdesk, as appropriate.
- Maintain and update user-sites, as required.
- Contact all customers on a quarterly basis.
- Document all customer encounters.
General Responsibilities:
- Support User Groups, as needed.
- Learn and understand the functionality of other CTK products.
- Provide on-call support ,as required.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated competence working with various software packages and languages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, (HTML, MySQL, Java Script a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree and work experience in a related field (work in the nonprofit sector a plus).
- Experience providing B2B customer service.
- Candidate must be highly organized and able to work well both independently and within a team.
