Job Description:

Develop new features, enhance current functionality and refine existing code for both the user interface and back end of a web-based application. As part of a small, dedicated team working on our premier product (http://www.communitytech.net/odm), you will engineer solutions to meet global product needs and resolve individual customer challenges.

This position calls for the ability to work well with individuals and teams in a tight-knit, creative and flexible environment. Minimal to no customer interaction is involved.  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years experience designing and developing web applications
• At least 1.5 years extending features / resolving issues within a complex existing codebase
• Thorough knowledge of relational database design
• Familiarity with source code version control systems

Required Skills:

• Expert level programming with PHP 4 using Object Oriented principles
• Experience with any database abstraction layer or persistence technologies
• Significant knowledge of SQL, preferably MySQL 4 database server
• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, ideally with the prototype framework
• Familiarity with CSS and WC3 standards
• Ability to envision overarching concepts and focus on subtle details
