Job Description: 



Develop new features, enhance current functionality, and refine existing code for both the user interface and back end of a web-based application. As part of a small, dedicated team working on our premier product, you will engineer solutions to meet global product needs and resolve individual customer challenges.

This position calls for the ability to work well with individuals and teams in a tight-knit, creative, flexible environment. Minimal to no customer interaction is involved.

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years experience designing and developing web applications
• At least 1.5 years extending features/resolving issues within a complex existing codebase
• Thorough knowledge of relational database design
• Familiarity with source code version control systems

Required Skills:

• Expert level programming with PHP 4 using Object Oriented principles
• Experience with any database abstraction layer or persistence technologies
• Significant knowledge of SQL, preferably MySQL 4 database server
• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, ideally with the prototype framework
• Familiarity with CSS and WC3 standards
• Ability to envision overarching concepts and focus on subtle details
