Derek Hansen worked in the education and non-profit sectors for 12 years prior to joining CTK. When he's not peddling Apricot products, Derek can be found playing drums and guitar with various musical acts and theater troupes around Austin. He can also be found pedaling -- in the spring/summer of 2011 he rode his bicycle from Mexico to Canada. (Note: His rapid role-changing has proven especially difficult in this age of disappearing telephone booths.)

Derek studied Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies at Dartmouth College and loves the collaborative atmosphere at CTK.
